He completed his MBBS and DGO (Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics) from Kolkata, including training at CNMC & R. G. Kar Medical College. He subsequently obtained his DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Pondicherry.

Dr. Bhattacharya has undergone specialized training in Laparoscopy and Urogynecology under renowned doctors in South India, particularly in Chennai and Bangalore.
